Invest in the Champlain Valley – Please Donate to Save Land and Make Trails

Donate Now!

Your donation to Champlain Area Trails helps create trails, connect people to nature, promote economic vitality, and preserve the Valley’s natural habitat and scenic vistas.

Please make a tax-deductible donation to Champlain Area Trails today via our secure server.
Please sign up to make a monthly donation. It provides consistent income for us and allows you to spread your generous donation over the course of a year.  It’s easy!  Just select the “monthly” option under “donation frequency.”  In a year’s time, your $5 a month donation would cover the cost of marking a trail.  For $25 a month, we could build a bridge.  For $50 a month, we could place a beautifully illustrated interpretive sign on one of our trails.  A monthly donation of $150 would provide us the funds to produce and distribute updated trail maps.  For $250 a month, CATS could place a series of interpretive signs on an entire trail.  And, a $500 a month donation would cover the costs of creating an entire new trail!

When making a contribution on-line, you can specify how you would like us to direct your donation by clicking on the drop-down menu at the top of the page.  Selecting “General Fund” will help us cover our operating expenses.  Selecting “Land Protection Fund” will help us with expenses related to our conservation easements and fee properties.  The “Long Pond Conservancy” fund is where you can make a donation to help the Conservancy purchase and permanently protect the land surrounding Long Pond in Willsboro.  Or, you can chose to direct your donation to our “Outdoor Education” or “Summer Intern” programs to help with the expenses involved in those programs.

If you prefer to write a check and make your donation by mail, please download the CATS Donation Form (PDF),  print in out, and complete it and include it with your check and mail to:
