Winter Day Celebration at Twin Valleys Outdoor Education Center

Join us for a WiNter day celebration at twin valleys outdoor education center on Saturday, march 2nd, between 12 PM and 4 PM.

We have partnered with College Auxiliary Services on behalf of SUNY Plattsburgh to improve the trails at Twin Valleys. We are thrilled to announce that the trails are now open to everyone!  

Winter fun for all ages! We welcome you to the Twin Valleys Outdoor Education Center to play in the snow and enjoy a bonfire while roasting marshmallows. This is family-friendly, with several trail options varying in length and difficulty. Depending on the weather, you can go cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, or take a winter walk through the woods.

TIMING:  We will have the fire from 12 pm - 4 pm. People can come by anytime for those four hours to walk, snowshoe, ski, or play in the snow and enjoy the fire.

WHAT TO EXPECT: We suggest dressing warmly for a cold winter day by wearing coats, hats, and mittens or gloves. It's important to keep yourself protected from the chilly weather.

Additionally, we will be hosting a snowshoe drive at the event. If you have any gently used snowshoes, please consider donating them. We are expanding our winter programming and encouraging more people to explore the trails.
